5:20 for the hands up stuff. If you hold up on the stick, you’ll jump at the shot. If you hold to left or the right depending on where the ball is, you’ll go for a strip steal. If you don’t want to jump or steal, but want to have your hands up, hold the analog stick down.

I noticed that I feel like holding up on the right stick after the second or 3rd pump fake would completely smother the opponent cuz 9/10 he going up so you gon get a good animation but if you playing a weirdo he gon pump fake you to death lol

The manual pick and roll cheese is going on 10+ years now. Just run them over and over again. And don’t get me started with CPU breaking up plays to just shoot contested shots in starting 5. Drives me insane.

Ik 2k messed up the shooting cause after the patch I see cpu HOF can make slightly n lates release/tempo etc doesn’t matter when I play on settings not supposed too

I hate when I’m holding the rs down to keep my hands up my guy still jumps at pump fakes yet I have post lockdown. Also keep running into other bigs with 95 standing dunk. Can’t stop the meter dunk in the restricted area

the pass got deflected you could see how the shooters animation was a recovery animation and not a catch

The passing lane steals were too much pre patch. They can cry all they want but it's not realistic to teleport across the court to intercept the ball.

Glad you talked about this. The rhythm shooting is extremely clunky and unpredictable post patch. 1. Lots of inconsistent timing, and tempo. Seems rng instead of actual human error. Sometimes even the tempo is not registering. Almost like you were holding the stick down the whole time and not flicking it up, even if you did. 2. Them speeding up the load ups, while a good thing, forces us rhythm shooters to relearn the timings. Got me relearning my shots at purple plate. Great. 3. With the buff of button shooting, and the nerf of rhythm shooting, it begs the question, is it even worth it to keep rhythm shooting? Which is by far harder than button shooting. Hope they fix this. Most of us got used to and actually got good with rhythm shooting. Was shooting better pre patch, than now, post patch. Smh.

@@Joonicakes I couldn’t shoot consistently for years like 2k18 was the last year I could shoot good and I recently learned rhythm shooting and was so consistent at shooting with it then 2k came in and turned it into a useless game mechanic that’s just there to exist at this point I’m forced to go back to the button and every time I shoot I feel like the game is forcing me to miss 🤦‍♂️

Being a guard is harder these days. It’s either you get nothing or you get everything. I got a PF and I’m dominating. Because nobody has a build that can guard the perimeter AND the paint. Y’all can have that guard play. Lol

All. But once it’s unlocked for the account, you can use how ever many cap breakers you’ve unlocked across all builds. They are permanent though so choose wisely.

It sped up the rhythm shooting, what I had to do is put my shot on release at first I was shooting in between set point and push….. release feels better and now I got the feel back for the rhythm shooting again.. yeah I hate the screen cheese that needs to be taken out the game it doesn’t make sense if I’m getting around the screen successfully and they try to reset it should be a moving screen the logic on screen need to change
