No1 cares about skill boosts on game launch seriously… 2k is lacking the option where you can choose when to activate your skill boosts. These day 1 boosts are wasted on nba games and street-Ai games

What’s even crazier about this is that not even 3 years ago, you had to manually activate your boosts before games 🤣 so they took it out! But, it was a little annoying to play every other game without a skill boost on, I’m sure they took it out with good intentions at least 😎

If anyone is reading this and deciding, IF the VC prices are still the same as the previous games, just get the standard edition. Not sure about US prices but in Australia 200k vc is $82. You have to spend an extra $70 to basically get 100k. You're better off just getting the standard and paying the extra $12 on top of that to get double the VC. There's no actual bonus either to having either edition besides boosts, but you'll probably burn through half of them playing career to get your player up anyway.

Personally, the last three years my very first build of the year was pretty much one of the best, at worst there were a couple things that I had to tweak to my liking and over the course of the year I obviously remade the builds

I’d say standard makes the most sense just buy 30$ of vc with it and you’ll have (with the preorder bonus plus trendsetter) you should have 130k vc to start with but depends you never know prices could change and we don’t know what the pro pass is going to give in terms of vc either

Technically you get 5k more VC if you buy 3 35k VC packs for $30. Only thing the All Star edition gets you is boosts but you cant even select when or when not to use your boosts so its not really worth it (imo).
