If Risacher is there at 4 the spurs are taking him. No way he makes it to the blazers at 7. They’ll probably go SF at 4 since teams 5-7 don’t need PGs and see if topic dillingham or castle are there at 8.

Dillingham has a higher ceiling than Risacher and fits better with Wemby. I see Dilly at his best being a Tyrese Maxey, Jamal Murray, Kyrie(fully realized potential) type of guard. Great handle, dribble, great finisher, fantastic shooter especially off of the dribble. Perfect modern guard to pair with a number 1 great big like Wemby. They could be a great 2 man duo for years to come.

I actually watched Dillingham a ton last season. It was painful watching him come off the bench. He is clearly a special player. His ability to make shots rivals that off a James Harden or Steph Curry. I’ve seen him go on 9-0 runs by himself. Multiple shots in a row. His career will depend on whether or not he can hit shots. The numbers say he’s a good PnR player but that’s only if he’s shooting the ball out of the PNR. If you watch him he actually does not read PnRs well. He’ll make the right pass if he absolutely has to but he’s not a set the table kind of player. He doesn’t see the game 2-3 plays ahead. He’s a reactionary player. Scoring is his thing. Defensively he simply has lapses. Gets lost. Loses his man. On top of that he’s very small. There wasn’t a ton of NBA talent to play against in college this past year but whenever they lost, the opposite PG had the best game of their career. No exaggeration. In his defense Coach Cal held him back and he came off the bench but we have to be real. He has some hurdles to jump. But he can do it if he buckles down and locks in mentally. He has the tools to be the NBAs next great point guard. He just has to score the ball a ton and be at the very least, a slightly below average defender. That’s really it. As the older PGs leave the game, he should really be one of the better guards in the league.

@@sarahmccoy1941 He's 164 and will likely be 175 by the end of his rookie season. NBA teams have strength and conditioning programs and teenagers grow. He'll always be on the lighter side, but so was Tony Parker (among other greats) at 180lbs for his career. In order for his weight to be disqualifying, you'd have to believe that an athletic kid like Rob can't put on 15lbs of lean mass over a 4 year rookie contract. P.S. I see you hating on this kid in every video. It's not healthy.

Calling it now, Spurs drafting Tidjane Salaun at #4 and a point guard at 8. Dillingham got potential and reminds me of Maxey but adding an NBA ready 18 year old wing along side Wemby would be deadly.
@rolandmiller54565 ай бұрын
I like Salaun but I really wish that he would wait another year. He can play no question but he's also roar as hell he is a project even more than a lot of the guys that are in the draft this year. If he fell to the second round I wouldn't have a problem grabbing him and stashing him for a year or two.
@blablablaa144 ай бұрын
You are so wrong on this. The ending of the game five guys for the Spurs (Tre, Devin, Keldon, Sochan, Wemby) were like a plus 20 together over the year. Its a really good starting five, but Pop rarely puts it on the court cause the Spurs are not trying to be competitive. Wemby "yearns" for nothing. The Spurs want the ball in Wemby's hands the same way Embiid/Joker have it, they do not want to bring a ball heavy, no defense PG to the team. I highly doubt Rob is one of their top 3 picks for players. Even Reed Shepard has a better chance as he's a better defender
