I feel like Ray can relate to Bosh in that they were the 3rd guy in their respective championship teams but were the ones that sacrificed the most. when you think of that Celtics team you think of Pierce and KG, Allen is just thought of as a 3 point shooter, but he was more than that he just played what his team needed to win. same with Bosh, LeBron and Wade got all the glory but Bosh was according to Spo that teams most important player and all you gotta do is watch that game 6 in 2013. Bosh had a bunch of clutch blocks, rebounds and defensive plays that if he don't make the heat lose that game and that series.

Hes talked about how he practiced a drill for a lot of his career where he would lay down belly down under the basket and then jump up, run out to the corner and shoot a three. And he said hed practice that a ton of times, had to make a bunch in a row before moving on kinda thing. Its definitely a shot he practiced. Like he said in his HOF speach, it wasnt about talent, but rather hard work.

One of the very best players I've seen & beyond clutch. He transitioned from primary to 2nd/3rd option, to role player & gracefully excelled at every position. It’s nice to watch these old school highlights because back then the regular season games mattered. You could feel the intensity see the disappointment on the players’ faces when they lost. In today’s game, most teams aren’t taking it personal when they lose a regular season game. Shit, some teams don’t even look like they’re in pain when they lose a playoff series (See this past season’s Timberwolves for evidence: KAT could not care less that he got eliminated.)

Chris Bosh inadvertently changed the game. Playing the center spot he could dribble shoot pass rebound etc and because he could shoot SAS had to choose their poison stop the 3 at risk of missing out on the boards or risk the 3 from Bosh on the line. After this every center had to be able to dribble shoot and pass or they wouldn’t be able to play in the league it completely changed how teams drafted and developed the bigs

Because he made the three-pointer, he must be the one who gets the flowers and applause. But we must not ignore Bosh's contribution. We can only say that he brought a perfect ending to this journey. Don't forget that this three-point opportunity was won by Bosh, and don't forget that before this, the Heat were 5 points behind, and it was James who made a three-pointer to shorten the score to two points. So, that's why the water cooler players can also get championship rings, because they are a unit.
