Celtics fan here. What happened to KG and Paul? Oh they got traded! And it was a trade the Celtics won. Ray has every right to flex the control he has over his career because teams will trade you like its nothing. Im happy ainge traded Paul and KG. We wouldn't be as good as we are right now if we didn't make that trade. But I can't be happy that we made that trade, and be mad at Ray for controlling his own life. Thats hypocrisy. And KG is a little in his feelings lets be honest about that. I loved that team. Thanks for the title Ray!

@Samuel Sosa He took less than the Celtics offered him, after they initially offered him even less. The fact is, Boston already lowballed him. Then he went to Miami, and then Boston said "Oh wait, now we can offer you more." Too late. Boston bluffed and lost. Happens.
@bennieblanks51294 жыл бұрын
The Big 3 era Celtics are probably my favorite team of all time and I still can't fault Ray for leaving when he did. His relationship with Rondo (who had taken on a much larger role with the team) had fractured beyond hope of repair while his role was gradually being diminished. Combined with how the organization prioritized his contract, it only makes sense that he would feel slighted.

If ray was a “true friend” he would’ve picked up the phone when kg&pierce where calling him who did nothing to him,instead he completely cut his relationship off with them because he felt guilty or was never really friends with them.
