@@ahmednasser3132 I think losing Divincenzo and Hartenstein really hurt our defense. Especially Hartenstein because he was our defensive anchor. Robinson will help but we need to add more players that have size, physicality, and mobility if we want to slow down other elite offenses in the playoffs.

@ That would definitely make our starting 5 defense better, but I think our offense is better when Kat is at center. I think the best option is to trade for centers and pfs that have offense and defense.

They have a chance... Unfortunately, we dont match up very well against some teams. I believe we can beat Cleveland... I dont think we can beat OKC or Boston if the series goes past 5 games. Minutes management is an issue. I might, however, change my mind if Mitch comes back and proves to be the besst he used to be.

I've watched the Knicks compete the past several years. To be sure, the Knicks now have some legitimate players and at least 2 of All Star caliber, with a good number of strong support personel. They are in the process of getting back a few injured players improving the strength and depth of the team. Unfortunately, I would say there are at least 5, or possibly more, teams of at least equal. if not superior strength. Their greatest weakness is their defense which permits easy penetration into the paint, many uncontested 3 pt shots, and often a lack of strong defensive rebounding. ( they permit far to many 2nd, 3rd, 4th or more shots on a given possession. Until, if and when these liabilites are satisfactorily addressed, consider them a strong contender which most likely wont make it into the NBA FINALS. Cleveland and Boston holding a slight, but perceptibly superior overall teams.

i cant think of more than 2 teams that can beat the knicks aside from boston and okc, cavs dont move me they beat us with basically a brand new team while they had the same team for years also we didnt have mitch who OWNS clevland, also "at least all star caliber" no Jalen brunson is a superstar and was top 5 in mvp voting and Towns is also playing at a superstar level so yea only 2 teams better than us is prob boston and okc

McBride is a fan favorite and is over hyped just like grimes was he a nice bench player but by no means he is a 6th man type a consistent scorer off the bench to give guys a breather to save legs for 4th . the bench is the reason for these close games vs lottery teams 8 points in 52 minutes 16 point in 54 bench minutes isnt good
