I was heading to Tokyo from Honolulu the morning Kobe died. Like the two fans, I shrugged it off as a bad joke when I first got an alert on my phone. Then my mood went from looking forward to a nice holiday to a pure swallow and unexplainable sadness. My phone got live CNN broadcast in-flight, and I spent the next 5 hours watching it as the story was developing, until I almost cried myself to sleep for the rest of the flight to Tokyo. 😢

The day before that I was supposed to have a date with my girlfriend but I feel so lifeless that day but I don't have a fever, I just wanted to lay down on my bed the whole day. Even my gf was mad at me because I didn't attend our date. Then 4AM in our time zone (Asia) I just woke up from sleeping. Then I was wondering why I woke up. I just can't figure it out. My brain told me to look up my phone to see my social media but I don't because it will hinder my sleeping.
