The two biggest regrets I have in life are watching porn and being so overly concerned with what others think that I couldn't apply common sense at times for myself

@eamparbeng
@eamparbeng 9 ай бұрын
@@rujahers3 it all started when I was 10 or 11. Watched my mom looking at something inappropriate. Then I'd search up women shaking their big butts. After that there was this website of a woman who liked to fart, which led me to discover all these porn websites. Over the years it progressively got worse. My family linked it to raging hormones as in the adolescent years that's what happens. But old habits die hard. And telling someone to stop watching isn't enough. The brain is rewired. Most of it was my fault for not fighting as hard as I could've. Anyways to the present day I've spent money on porn dating sites, spoken with some pretty depraved women, went to strip clubs, and almost had thoughts of actually having sex with a stripper. My friends were telling me that I was on a very slippery path to destruction and I need to stop now before it's too late. But God being so good to me he didn't let me fall. And now I'm reclaiming all that lost time while I'm still young

Regretting not saying something to someone like Kobe, reminds me of passage in the Bible where it says to never let the Sun go down while you're still angry. Never ever raised my voice to my mother or had an argument/disagreement with her either, but on the last day that I saw her we had one and I walked away angry at her(plus I didn't give a hug or kiss for the very first time when I was leaving as I always did before.) This lesson served me well, because the next time I saw my mother was in a mortuary, forever reminding me to never let the Sun go down on my anger as well! GOD BLESS everyone, and if you have anyone that you are angry with, please forgive them today before the Sun goes down, then call them and let them know that you still Love them!!! Thanks! P.S. Just one more morsel I thought I'd love to share with you especially after seeing Kobe say @(6:38)~"The Biggest Mistake We Make In Life Is Thinking We Have Time!"~reminds me of this short documentary I watched a few years ago when this Chaplain who's been at over 1000 bedsides when people passed away stated when asked what did people wish for/or regret, and his answer was out of the thousand bedsides he preceded over 90% of them wanted more time, and wish they forgave people more, wish they loved people more than they did during their lifetimes!!!

The best regret story that i have heard was the one from Jalen Brunson His father Rick Brunson was playing for Portland in early 00s and they were playing against MJ in Washington. He as a kid of NBA player had access to met other players and ofc he like anyone at that time he wanted to meet Michael, he even had his jersey. He met him and when MJ offered him to sign his autograph on his jersey Jalen said no because he would mess up his jersey lol Mind you he was 5 at that time

Allen Iverson really could have been a top 3 player up there with Jordan and Lebron. If he was just more humble and more responsible he could’ve have won it all eventually. People don’t give him enough credit for how much he revolutionized the game. Everyone wanted braids, sleeves, tattoos, the number 3, etc. I know 3 separate people that have his “Only the Strong Survive” tattoo. They all play basketball and based their game off of him. Even Tyson Chandler has this tattoo 😂anyways, Although he was considered a SG, he paved the way for smaller scoring guards in general. Ball dominant, score first, athletic style point guards wasn’t really a thing until AI came in the game. Everyone wanted to be like him.

Bulls moved on, he moved on, he wanted another go, he gave it a go in DC, still played great, did his thing at an older age. Nothing wrong with it at all. It’s not like he betrayed anyone or anything. He is still is forever a Chicago bull due to his insane accomplishments and how the organization moved on from him his championship team.
