Magic basically played 12 years, one year was injured & didn't play in the playoffs. Of the 11 years he did play in the playoffs they went to the NBA Finals 9 times & won 5 Championships. Not many players can claim a record like that and none of them played PG. Case closed.

i 100% AGREE. Not one point guard ever, can compare to Magic's resume. Magic changed the game like none other, forever. A 6'9" inch point guard runnin' and gunnin' and making no look plays like he did, was unheard of until he came into the game. Magic created magic on the floor and was a marvel to watch and I'm so glad I was there to see it so many times. There will never be another Magic Johnson. Not to mention his great attitude and smile. People just loved Magic and still do.

Magic won a High School Championship, College National Championship and a NBA Title in a 4 year window....he was 20 when was The MVP in the 1980 Finals. Curry is the Greatest Shooter i ever saw, but he's not Magic brah.

I don't like rankings. I prefer to talk about my favorites, based on the way they play. But what all of these GOAT shows never mention is that MAGIC HAD 5 RINGS AT 28 years of age. All of the AIDS hysteria, especially the fact that he was banned from playing for a time based on ZERO scientific fact, robbed him of several more years in his prime. And he knew how to take care of himself. Goat or not, he would have at least one more championship, and had he been healthy in 91, he may have walked away with 6. The Lakers have a solid win in the first game of the series.
