Number 1 will always be number 1 Vic is HIM He’s humble to a point He knows his worth He understands the politics and the game He’s not controversial off the court. He’s Rookie of the year and DPOY in my book. He was Str8 robbed. Especially after Gobert got exposed in the Dallas series. If you swap Gobert and Wemby.. put Wemby on the Twolves they would have won the Ship. Put Gobert on San Antonio and they would have lost more than 22 games FOR SURE. He will win DPOY and if they make it to the playoffs some how some way he could even win MVP in his second year. It’s so exciting to be a Spurs fan right now but get ready because there has never been a small market team with this caliber of talent because there has never been this type of talent. So many will jump in the Wemby wagon the moment he has a Robin to his Batman. Vassell is cool but he’s not Wembys Robin. My guess is Topic will be his Robin. Like Stockton and Malone but WAAAAAAAY better in the Big. Anyone agree whole heartedly with all I have typed here?

Victor Wembanyama is not only talented but also a hard-working player, something most college players don't have to do. They can just walk on the field and play basketball. Victor Wembanyama has to adapt to the new environment, culture, learn the language and US way of life in a short period of time. He is a special player and deserves respect as a basketball player and not as someone only 2,24 meter from France.
