Fun fact about this game: When Jordan was defending Kobe, he held Kobe to 0-6 while guarding him in that game. Jordan also forced all 3 of Kobe turnovers in that game (two offensive fouls and a steal). Kobe went a scorching 14 for 17 in 1st half, and in the 2nd half, Kobe went 1 for 12. Ended up going 15 for 29. Jordan iced him 🧊🥶. A 40 year old goat 🐐 on two bad knees locked up 🔒 an athletic prime Kobe Bryant. Part of the reason why Kobe was “playfully” punching MJ was because he was frustrated that he couldn’t go off on MJ and held him scoreless.🤣🤣🤣 🐐🐐🐐

Reason why kob punching is because that's what you call 2 REAL NBA greats passing and accepting the torch. Notice how they are having fun? You didn't place any stats how many punch kob throw to MJ? How long did they both smiled during that sequence? Poor nerd you are. Not even a high school baller you are yet you yappin nonsense here. I was not born yet and to young to see the Michael Jordan bulls era but I was definitely around when Kobe came on the scene 2000 and up. Mom took me to a lakers game and wizards game. Seen Kobe and Shaq play together and MJ play. Best memories I’ll never forget. Kobe embodied MJ to the fullest from every move and with his own style with it. This was definitely a torch being passed down to kobe moment. And Kobe held his own from then on and mastered it to the end. Kobe will always be the greatest player in my eyes to touch the rock after MJ left the scene. We still had great players in the early 2000s but Kobe was just a different breed and cut from a different cloth. LonglivetheMamba

Leading towards the '98 All Star game, MJ in a sense knew already who will be his heir apparent. He talked about the kid "Kobe" who's gonna 1-on-1 with anybody. During the game, Kobe asked technical questions to MJ and he answered him directly. MJ even invited Kobe to give him a call anytime he has questions. This footage is really nice. The literal passing of the torch from one apex assassin to another.

This mentality has to be cultivated via American values that believe in winning and not making excuses. Many Americans still have that attitude. But a growing majority of Americans don't. And until that problem is reversed, you will only see these kinds of players from other countries. This is by design. Why do you think the NBA is pushing foreign players so hard. It's a Globalist agenda and the NBA is in lock-step with it. For the sake of the foreign players, and for the game of basketball, it's a good thing. But evil uses good things to trick the masses into choosing slay-vreee. Yes, a bit much to say, but it's connected to why you will never see American born players like Jordan and Kobe again unless American values survive.

Kobe would probably agree that he didn’t drop 50 whatever ON Michael Jordan. Maybe there were just no clips of him scoring when Jordan was guarding him but scoring ON someone is scoring when that person is guarding you. Either way, the great Kobe Bean Bryant legendarily torched NBA teams on a regular basis like all great scorers.
