People never remember who made the pass but the resulting backboard destruction by Shaq was unforgettable. Jokic has doesn't care who on his team scores. His array of weapons makes the other team work twice as hard. I personally enjoyed watching him trade flop for flop with LeBron. Classic karma. LeBron is the past, Joker and Doncic are today, Wemby is the future. The past loving fans aren't happy with today, and can't wait for the future, even though there are things being done today that were never done in the past.

He is of course not the first guy at this height who can move. Ralph Sampson, Yao Ming, Kristaps Porzingis - what do they have in common? It took two to three years till the first major injury and afterwards they never where the same. They fell off as a player or they played not more than 60% of the games afterwards. Wemby reminds of a girl that started a competition with me for the #1 place on our weekly medical terminology test. I refused to compete with her, I rarely study outside of school for terminology, I just had a weird way of remembering things. I decided to just let her burn out, I wasn't going to go out of my way to compete with others to prove myself. After several weeks of being #1, she burned out. Wemby gives me that vibe. He seems to want to create competition with other players to prove he is better than....so...I am not calling him a goat yet. We still need to see if he burns out or not. nah... in another ERA as you say... the big guys would camp out in the paint cause they couldnt dribble, couldnt drive, couldnt shoot from outside. so they'd rake up all the rebounds and play the post up down low against their counterpart big man. in that era, tell me who's guarding wemby outside the paint? you have to respect his mid range shot and his 3, you need to step up and contest it. who would do it? if you step up to him, he can drive and take you to the hoop. if you don't he is just as happy to shoot from outside and make as many points as the other guy playing post.

Based on what? He’s super well prepared physically, the guy is incredibly flexible. He doesn’t need to be super bulky honestly , maybe Rudy Gobert type of muscle but nothing more or he will get injured.
