Agreed. I still play this game almost weekly because of the great sound design and atmosphere. Even love the little touches like Certain players getting booed at particular arenas. Even the player faces are sadly (for the most part) better than current 2k.

It’s insane how good the atmosphere is in this game! Better than all 2k games honestly. The area music is true to life, even compared to Live 19 that used generic arena music. The animations are surprisingly good and the ball physics off the rim are exactly what Live 18 and 19 were missing. Never got to play this game but it would have easily been my top Live game.

Because they actually went into the studio and recorded lines for the game. The commentary on Live 18 has mostly been the same since 14, they only have updated lines for the newer NBA and WNBA players but it's still so damn dry. They should've had Mike Breen, Jeff Van Gundy and add Mark Jackson to the team and have them record at least about 500 minutes of new audio, but I see they dropped a patch yesterday with new audio so maybe it'll be like how Madden was with the dynamic commentary that talked about the stuff that happened last week like how 2k also has been doing since 2k12.

this is so much better than 2k20, look at the bench look at the cheerleaders, all fluid. Someone is like itching their leg, some players chilling some. Its all there back in 2010. All the aspects of the game were touched upon. Today's dev's only care about minimal product and all about money.

Playing the Live 18 demo enough the game feels better than 14-16 but it still can't compare to Live 10. Mike Wang's input on the style of the game really shows his imprint just look at how Live 10 was and how when he went back to 2K he improved the foundation that was laid with 2K10 and mastered with 2K11.

Derek Turner 18 is cool I have it but this compared to 18 is no comparison the player models aren't to big and blocky and it just runs smoother I think they should go back to these models.

The funny thing is that they based the mobile game off of Live 10 but not the console game. The only thing they took from Live 10 is the dribbling but it's slower and not as fluid. I'm hoping that whenever they move to a new engine they can get the gameplay to run smoother.

This actually seems like a real NBA game. This game is from 2010 and is way more advanced & seems way realer than GOOFY CARTOONISH AWFUL NBA 2k20. This is from 2010 and they have real Staples Center sounds. The crowd is way better. The commentary is good...I can’t wait until NBA Live 21 comes out on the new PS5 & XBOX. I want to play a good NBA game & not that 2k crap. NBA Live 19 is actually funner to play than. 2k20. Live developers need to keep coming out with games & stop cancelling them.
