I remember when NBA live used to be the only game option when it came to basketball. I stopped playing after 2005 2006 and all of a sudden this 2k thing blew up. I figured, why not I’ll get one 2K.. I purchased 2K 21 and that is the only NBA 2K I will ever purchase again. NBA live aesthetically looks so much better, the dribbling the fluency the tough shots everything

How does it feel to be a company that spent all that time and money developing a game that the fans begged not to have?! Fans have been begging EA for Fight Night but EA chose to let Undisputed boxing take that market away from them as well... I think EA became arrogant with their success in the 90's and under estimated the importance of keeping the fans happy. You can’t stop anything in terms of layups or dunks unless you are a defender. Height differential doesn’t matter in the slightest in terms of contesting. There are some areas where live is promising, but there are way too many areas where it falls short

The real reason why Live hasn't dropped is because they're waiting for 2k to dry out completely. When 2k was at its peak , NBA live games were dropping. Now that live isn't dropping, 2k has no competition and is not trying to be innovative anymore. 2k24 was so horrible, many fans stopped playing it completely. So Ea is actually being smart, sucks for us though. Hopefully they drop eventually. They might need to rebrand though.

Yes, they added a few things that was fun, but overall, the game was not fun for me. I usually play myteam as well, but that was trash too compared to good years like 2k19 and 2k20. Everything is such a money grab now that it's not even tolerable anymore. If 2k was good, I would admit it, but it just was not for me this year.
