yeah the game isnt BAD as people make it out to be. Live Run is probably the best game mode on the game. I think the one thing that drives people away from playing the game would be the animations. Almost 80% of animations are canned, which in comparison to 2K, they've improved DRASTICALLY with their animations, meanwhile it seems that Live is still stuck in the early 2000s.

Live by contrast had ton of innovation in their game like Real life artists putting artwork into the game, All-star to Superstar skill set of the archetypes, created female players, (which 2k stole along with a lot of other features Live came up with first and patched as their own) three point line recognition, the ball handling and speed over individual dribble moves, (again, 2k stole that feature from Live as well!) the sweat engine looking life like compared to 2k’s plastic sweat which still didn’t improve in Next-Gen, and intricate details of players like the realistic muscle movement of the arms and legs that 2k still on Next-Gen does not give you, facial details to how players actually look like in real life, like Tatum having a small patch of hair on the left side of his lip and more. Live is by far more innovative than 2k Imo, and most people who bash the game sound more like Fan Boys of 2k than people who truly understand the intricacies that it takes to make a really good game. 2k is lazy, while Live tried to work hard and put in a lot more money into their game than 2k ever did and dudes still choose 2k over Live not because it was better, but mostly due to the content creators hating on Live🤦🏾‍♂️.

NBA live 18 was actually good. I use to play it with my homies. Some of the clothes were better like the shorts and pants. They had so much physics within the clothes and hairstyles that it didn’t make sense. While the 2k clothes are still stagnant along with the hair.

This game CAN make a comeback. I enjoy Live more because it gives more of a street ball feel than 2k IMO. 2k is VERY good when it comes to simulating NBA games, but I just enjoy the street ball aspect WAYYY more. I really do hope EA actually has something up their sleeve to get people to play this franchise again.
