There's some of that and there is also some other things going on as well. I'm a pretty good athlete. Gary Trent the older one who played forward for the Timberwolves for a while was a smearing college the year I was a junior in high school. The guy wasn't the world's greatest NBA player and as far as basketball skills wasn't extremely exceptional. At the time I was 6'1 at a nearby high School the local University that he played for hosted a camp and he and the other college players took part. What got me about him was the physicality level where he was able to with his lower body strength effortlessly move guys who were college wrestlers and football players a year later. In fact that's kind of my way of gauging draft picks if I see on film that this guy can either dominate the competition physically or through skill I feel confident that it's worth the draft pick. If they are just a little better than that they probably are going to just be an awesome land at the next level. The fun part I did a camp the summer of the next year that Wally Szerbiak took part in. He ended up being a much better NBA player. He wasn't actually quite as dominating against above average high school basketball players because at the time the three-point shot was not as developed and he wasn't physically leaps and bounds ahead of myself and the other kids he was playing. There's also a little bit of a don't get it wrong aspect to what I'm saying here both of them and most of the college players were considerably better and more skilled than most of the high schoolers at these camps but probably two thirds of the kids went on to play college basketball and the ones who didn't went on to compete in other college athletics. I haven't personally played against anyone who would be considered an NBA star just NBA player, so I have a hard time really saying how much better those guys are then their NBA compatriots, but I would say that I feel like the top Park players in major cities on their good days officiated evenly could give your average NBA player a run for his money one on one. He would lose but the NBA player would have to work for it.

not gonna lie, KD vs normal people looks like KD versus NBA players. The only difference is in how bad they get burnt, not if they get burnt.
@Christopher._M3 жыл бұрын
Im not even sure if their is one player in NBA history who could guard KD one on one. Top level perimeter defenders would not be able to stop KD from circling around and dunking or making a lay up. And top level rim protectors would not be able to guard KD in the perimeter Unless you allow aggressive play like slapping, reaching, pushing and bumping i don't believe any defender could guard KD cleanly.
