Brook Lopez is probably one of the best players who completely changed their game. He was a strictly post player in Brooklyn who didn’t rebound that well or play any defense. Over the years, he’s become one of the best big man shooters in the league and has exceptional post defense while still being effective in the paint.

I think he was under-utilized by Billy Donovan by giving KD and Russ and PG the ball too much with their isolation, but his playmaking started to flourish when Cp came to OKC. I wish he comes back again somewhere in his career to OKC

I never thought Billy Donovan was a good offensive coach though since he always just had Russ and KD or Russ and PG take turns controlling the offence so I guess Adams was kind of limited by that but his defensive schemes were always good.

I have to disagree with Murray, this basically what we expected before he tore his ACL, he was always a good rebounding guard. His playmaking and mid range shooting has really improved though but the playmaking part was before his ACL.

I'd disagree there. Pre ACL he used to make poor playmaking decisions, such as rushing into opposing defenders crowding the paint, and was at best an average passer. There was a huge contrast as a playmaker between Murray and White during their time together, with White never getting flustered when defenses put pressure on him and having good court vision, unlike Murray who often looked to have tunnel vision on his offensive game and would get flustered and either lose the ball to a turnover or looking to get rid of it quickly to get the pressure off him, which typically would be before a set play or teammates were in a good position to score. So yes, he has improved tremendously as a playmaker. He had the physical attributes to be a playmaker before the injury but clearly he didn't have the maturity or mental aptitude to be one just yet.

Marcus Smart, used to be great defensively and would often flop. Still great defensively now but doesnt flop anymore. Also, after playing as backup for IT, Kyrie, and Kemba, he is now the floor general for the Celtics. Drastically improved his shot selection too. This is very noticeable as a Cs fan. James Harden 3-4 years ago would Iso and take stepback threes all the time, or drive and feast on the FT line. He used to do this for a living. When he got to Nets, he became more of a facilitator all-around PG. This is too early to say but we have the best of Rockets and Nets version of Harden right now in Philly.

It may not be drastic but Draymond has changed his playstyle. Back in his first 2 seasons, he was essentially a Small Forward doing Small Forward things. It took a Steve Kerr offense, a starting opportunity due to David Lee's injury, and the confidence to be the team's main playmaker despite being a Power Forward (and sometimes a Center) on top of his already elite defense for him to fully flourish
