watching kyrie its almost like he doesn't have a cadence at all. or that hes mastered playing at every speed possible. constantly switching up slow and fast, hesitation and burst, stutter steps and long strides, its like watching a computer analyze the defense and finding the most efficient way to attack it despite size limitations. with luka its like hes progammed his cadence to be opposite of his defenders, when they go fast he slows down, when they slow down, he speeds up, constantly changing angles and shifting the defenders weight until they give up a easy shot, late contest, or get entirely lost. sga has perhaps the most smooth cadence of the three, very wide, slow sways, with smooth changes of direction, hard to time especially considering his excellent ability to pivot.

Like how you pointed out that these guys are all elite, but broke down what makes each of them unique from the others as well.

Great video breakdown..cadence makes it hard to guard and as a defender it’s a great way to throw off and rip the offensive player

Luka 1a and 1b simply due to his athletic deficiencies It’s does not matter Then I see Kai, damn it’s beautiful. Glad I get to see both of them playing together.

Yeah its dope to see two elite shot creators on the same squad
@Lyrunfromda2142 ай бұрын
I think his athletic deficiencies actually made him work on his skill more ....if he had a 40 inch very plus probably wouldn't have developed his skill to this extent...(Mario Hezonja...no shade still a great player)I think Luka is 1 and Kyrie is 1 B...they are the best duo in the league imo easily
@Andrew-gs2ps2 ай бұрын
Luka averages way more than both and is way better than both. SGA is literally kyrie if kyrie got 12 FT a game. Luka patented the slow step that the whole league is using now

This is beautiful! I also think of Harden at Houston. Curry with and without the ball. The way Clyde the Glide Drexler played. We could go back to Pistol Pete easily. Your examples have history in the NBA as the subject is cadence. Nico Harrison gets it also. His vision of how to build a team is different. With much less money his science experiments show results. Your on my radar now. I'll be back hoping for this type of quality.

Luka for sure. Unlike the other guys he dictates the tempo of the entire game, to do what he does at slow pace is way harder than doing what Shai and Kyrie do. Luka is the smartest player and he’s playing chess with every defender and you spoke about cadence, Luka got the best breaks in the game others can go from 60 mph to 20 mph in a second. Luka goes from 30 to - 30 and moving backwards within milliseconds.

I wouldn't say that he deserves a spot among the Kings, but i think Dennis Schroder is underrated in terms of his cadence and footwork. Especially as his signature move the Black Tornado is based off shifting defenders with his cadence

Wonder if.coopee flag kinda fits this role. He seems to get guys to move with slighest effor. Like to see how his game translate

Are cadence and pace synonymous?
@antgoods872 ай бұрын
I look at them as being synonymous for the most part but I think cadence in a bit more specific or in-depth that it more so refers to the dribbling sequence which in turn changes and influences pace

I want Alexander to win the national basketball championship in 2025. How many beats per minute does Luka dončić bounce in each 48 minute he played in the national basketball association? Maxi 42 is the most calculated when speaking about this video post of cadence is why the Dallas mavericks pay him 35 million. I was wondering why they kept maxi 42 so many years after the Dallas mavericks fired or traded 24 folks in 2023. Kyrie Irving is great one big secret he wasn’t drafted on abc, nba like Luka dončić wasn’t drafted from the stage of 2018 abc,nba draft of the Dallas mavericks pickings, either way kyrie Irving could win the championship employed at the Dallas mavericks 2025 if they fire Luka dončić.
