I'm a huge UNC fan and Ty for the longest time was my favorite player of my lifetime. Watched him come up through Oak Hill, went to his game against OJ Mayo in 2006, and even exchanged a couple MySpace messages with him when I was in high school. Became a Nuggets fan the day he was drafted by them and really enjoyed what he was able to do for them. His steep decline not long after was tough to watch. He was an idol of mine and he tossed so much of his potential away on dangerous and poor decisions. Still upsets me to have seen him unravel like that and hope he eventually gets or got the help he needs. He was such a unique and unbelievably quick talent. Still to this day a top 5 personal favorite that I have ever watched play basketball, at any level.
