Curry got it because he takes 20+ 3s a game, and of cousre he will bucket 5-10, but thats still only 50%, look at his numbers compared to Ray Allens percentage, he can't hold a candle to it.

Ray ray is the best 3 point shooter because although Curry and Green are great 3 point shooters and both broke a record by Allen, Ray's shots are usually the big ones, recently against the Pacers Ray hit 4 3s. He has the nba record for most 3s, and now his 3s are the big ones, game tiers or winners.

kobe bryant since 2009 has shot 49% on wide open 3 point attempts. he shoots 28% on contested 3's. thats why. he would easily have one of the best 3 point percentages in the league if he was just a spot up shooter like ray allen.
