So the civil war songs, which are just an incredible window into history, would be written about specific battles and the side that won usually talked their shit in it. The only one I can think of that both sides sang using the same lyrics maybe just with the twist ending flip flopped depending on the side you’re on is The Battle of Shiloh Hill.
