Most underrated PF of all time. If you're a guard, then this guy is an awesome teammate. great Pick&Roll Game, Awesome finisher, good midrange jumpshooter, can do damage in the post or face-up if you need him to, and willing to be your co-star. he just plays his role. and he plays it well.

Stoudemire has some of the greatest posterizations of all time I can’t believe I almost forgot about him
@Flush7510 ай бұрын
This is because opponents still tried to play defense back then. In 2023-era NBA there is no more defense
@averydaymond15606 ай бұрын
And those posterizations are against guys with mostly pretty good position to defend it. Yet Stoudemere still dunked it. Except for the play at 1:24 which I thought I was seeing 👀 things. He hardly ever shot the ball outside of the 10 feet area.

The fact that he has a montage before the top ten shows that this guy was a beast in his heyday. The dunks were so explosive and quick, I say even better than Blake Griffin's. STAT was a monster in the paint and his only weaknesses were his defense (which he improved steadily in his career) and his durability (which doomed his career). And he was dunking on big guys, those last two dunks were just epic plays.
@ExVoto633 жыл бұрын
I'm biased as a long time Suns fan and former season ticket holder but Amare stands out as one of the most electrifying NBA players of his era. So many of his dunks are seared into memory. It was a thrill to watch him play live (even from nose bleed seats we had). And that amazing chemistry he had with Nash, especially on the pick and roll! Bet I watched that #1 dunk against Golden State a few hundred times on the DVR the night it happened. Breaks the heart that he didn't get a championship during the Nash and Marion years. So grateful for all the memories he gave our family of die hard Suns fans.

The majority of the modern-day plantation commodities in the NBA today are clueless about the incredible power, jumping abilities, dominance and tenacity of this Power Forward. you're delusional. the team was headed in a better direction before the Melo trade. obviously you can't just say "we shouldn't have traded for Melo" because he was an all star but he wasn't willing to change his game. His game only got him so far in Denver and he had good players around him and a great coach. Goes to NY and wont alter his game, runs Linsanity out of NY with his comments to the media. Personally i just feel like a lot of Knicks fans that i know, and i know a lot of them, give Amar'e a lot of shit when its because of him that the knicks became relevant period for the first time in a really long time.
