man.. i miss this 2012-13 knick team.. had a lot of veteran presence in that locker room... rasheed, camby, Jason Kidd, etc.. they should've kept some of the core and why did they had to get andrea bargnani?? they shouldve never traded Novak..

The "veteran presence" was the teams weakness. It looked promising at first but later in that season their age got to them

That lob to JR Smith which was supposed to be a regular chest level pass was fucking incredible. One of the sickest plays I've ever seen. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it live. Dude took a regular pass and oop'd it. Crazy.

Brutal season for the NBA IMO. A team cancer in JR Smith gets rewarded with the Sixth Man of Year award, and Carmelo who late-season chucked for the scoring title is rewarded with it. Brutal, brutal season.

Because if Melo sits down, there is no one on the team that can fill the scoring role other than J.R Smith. He can easily be a starter for almost any team, but he is known as a 6th man and having players capable of starting coming off the bench helps the team's depth.
