Mavs are super streaky this season. They have periods throughout a game where they don't score at all, and then there are phases where they are absolutely unstoppable. I remember the game they were trailing by 38 and brought it all the way back, unfortunately losing it in the closing of the 4th quarter. You need to have a Terrence Mann or a dirty player like Lou Dort who hurts him constantly to stop him. If you only have Kyle Anderson or Ant or Naz or J. Mc on him you won’t be able to contain him. 2 straight 30+ point games. Luka is a superstar, Ant is an All Star, you can’t just glaze on Ant and then count out Luka. Wolves were built to counter Jokic, that’s why Naz, KAT and Gobert was picked up… but they can’t do that to the Mavs. Coz the focal point of their attack is from outside to inside, not inside out. It’s Luka and Ky to Gaffor or DLive, not Jokic to Murray or to KCP or to MPJ.

Ant's still young. Hopefully he becomes great. He's on a fantastic pace. It would be good for the league. Maybe he's a little too heavy or simply needs to work on his conditioning. Good body for regular foks, but the NBA isn't regular. I watched those Jordan titles. He always had Pippen to guard the best opposing wing if that happened to be the opponent's best player. Things got even better in the 2nd 3peat with the addition of Ron Harper and Rodman to take heavier defensive responsibilities so Jordan could be the best version of himself.

Luka has been the definition of clutch for the mavericks when put in a situation to help his team win especially against the clippers hahaha..steady putting up triple doubles and and drilling game winning shots and making the right plays at the right time. Having Kyrie to alleviate some pressure has been a huge help too, people who said him signing there wouldn't work are eating those words now. he shows up and shows out when it matters most it's something you can't teach you just have it or you don't. Mamba style.. doesn't matter what happens in regular season as long you get in playoffs anything can happen..

Up by 5, 1 min 30 left, up by 2, 32 seconds left, you have posession, Dallas isn't intentionally fouling, and you still lose the game is heartbreaking. I have some empathy for a portion of T Wolves fans, the normal ones, not the arrogant, overconfident, loudmouths. Dallas did their part to give Minn the win, but for every Mavs mistake the T Wolves made 2. I was listening to the game at work, Kyrie bricked both free throws, Ant made his, and that was last thing i heard before i entered the dead zone and lost my connection. With the Mavs down 5 with a little over a minute left I didn't bother trying to reconnect, because I figured all Minn had to do was guard the perimiter and make the Mavs need 3 possessions to win the game. I still can't believe the T Wolves lost, especially after Luka missed that mid range with 30 seconds or so left. I know being an armchair expert is easy for all of us, but can anyone explain to me why Minn allowed the Mavs to get not one, but two 3 point shots off. Kyrie's was an expiring shot clock, catch and shoot, but completely uncontested, and if Rudy had just let Luka have the lane the worst case scenario would be a tie game with the T Wolves having final possession, and overtime if they miss. I know Ant made a bad pass, but imho terrible coaching is what cost Minn the game, and likely the series.
