Nah dude is right. 32 is old in the NBA. A comparison would be like a 62 year old employee or mid level manager. They are old. They can still do the job and they might still be really good at it, every once in awhile some are still at the top of their game but they are old. They just aren't 90-100 something with one foot in the grave type of decrepit yet. That's what a 35+ year old is in the NBA way more often than not. One foot in the grave. Ofc there are some exceptional examples that will defy that statement but most players won't even get that far let alone still be very effective.

They are still old. Doesn't matter what name you throw out. Brady, Rodgers, Bron, Jeter ... they were/are still old for an athlete and not as good as they were in their prime. These are also statically outliers. No doubt training and supplements make it more possible or more likely for an athlete to play to an older age and play well or even at an elite level still. No one can say how much more possible or how much more likely. There are only a handful of guys who are late to early 40s playing very well or at an elite level right now and, again, none of them are as effective as they once were. That's because they are old. You also had some phenomenal and dedicated athletes who could seemingly turn back time like a Jamir Jagr or Kareem but these were exceptions to the rule as Brady and James are today. You are right in the sense that it is at least slightly more common (or possible) today but it's not like medicine has developed to the point that we're extending an athlete's prime, especially not on average. Maybe in 60-100 years that point will have more validity to it.

Let ig go bro.....I turned 38. I'm bigger,faster,stronger than mass majority of men younger than me. I was arguing and fighting it alot. Now I realize I am old. My recovery is not the same speed anymore.
