Jennings had such a bright future, sucks that the Bucks traded for Monta Ellis which stunted his growth and then Detroit fired Mo Cheeks who Jennings was really improving under after they got rid of Josh Smith, then he had to tear his achilles after again finally picking up some steam

I like Jennings, but Tyreke had a historical rookie season. He averaged a 20-5-5 season, which was only done by 3 other players, MJ, the Big O and LBJ during their rookie years. But I'm also a Jennings fan

well kobe is the only other player (besides wilt im sure) to score 55 or more points in just 3 quarters so it is relevant to mention him not to take jennings shine but to give him respect by mentioning him with the best all around scorer to ever play the game...and if nobody brings up players thats not playing with the player of discussion then all you kobe "faggot" haters would stop bringing MJ up everytime kobe does something...practice what you preach

he never played like this when he stayed here in Rome...even if being far away from home could be hard I can't understand how it is possible. I mean, in Rome he played half games or less a week and ok, italian and european basketball is different, but here in italy there is less pressure on players than in the u.s. anyway I hope the best for him

The Kings have an extremely overloaded backcourt, Jennings is on the other side, free to put any shot he wants, unless he wants to let Ellis do that. Tyreke needs a new time to shine as soon as possible. Jennings lack of college may have cost him the ROY award... but things change, I commented on this a year ago. Now Jennings is the one being the mature one, and leading his team like Tyreke did in his rookie year.
@Slamwoo93
@Slamwoo93 13 жыл бұрын
@TheNBAhoops Why ? Because of the 55 point game? What were his stats throughout the season? Tyreke had 20 ppg 5.2 rebs and 5.8 assists shooting 45 % fg and 25 % from 3 (notice he's not really a pure pg and a shooter), Jennings had 15 ppg 3.5 rebs and 5.7 assists on 37 % shooting from the field and the 3...as far as talent goes they're both as good, but Tyreke had a better season you can't deny that if Jennings could have gotten it so could Steph Curry but Evans just had a great season

with all the choices they have jennings will be paired with somebody great like favors or maybe even aminu. i dont think alot of people know about devan downey. ive looked at alot of mock drafts for this year and his name doesnt come up on any of them. maybe hes not planin on comin out, idk. but he should be up there with wall. for someone thats 5'9 he scores really well and can dish the ball. i really hope hes a top three pick whenever he comes out. his hight might be a problem though.

yo man chill out with that his is a much better point guard then u think jus bcuz his turnover ratio compared to his assists are bad does not mean he isnt a tru point guard he is if u seen how he played in high skool then u def no wat im talkin bout and also all players sometimes dont truly develop til like their 3rd or 2nd year in the league so stop hatin on him and leave him b and watch he will get better at that position
@phresh07
@phresh07 15 жыл бұрын
No one wants A.I. because he doesn't fit, teamwise. He is a pure scorer, non passer hence why he didn't fit on Detroit and Denver's pass first strategy. It's not as if Jennings is cocky to his team-mates and doesn't show them respect. You say he's cocky now, but his teammates and coach say he's very coachable and has a good work ethic; I think their opinion matters more, honestly.

Europe Basketball esp Euroleague is quite different... in Europe you can't miss too much shoots, defence is more strong cause every game is a "must win" and there is a lot traffic in the paint. I've watched live every game in rome of BJ, he was good in defence and assists but he shoots with 26% 3FG (for example in euroleague) and missed a lot of tactic things. So happy now he leads the bucks
@MrJeckel
@MrJeckel 15 жыл бұрын
... he was stiffed in rome. hardly got playing time and when he did he didn't deliver as thats what rookies in pro games do. as you know, there is no nonsense in rome. on the bright side rome probably sped his dev. up 2 years not phyisically but mentally. if he goes to college he doesn't develop like he does now so fast because he now knows what it takes. usually takes rooks 3 years to figure that out. it ook him 1 year in a tough no nonsense league. europe=Best farm system.
@atlnigga03
@atlnigga03 14 жыл бұрын
he's improveing and so is his team. they've won two in a row and in both games jennings shot better than 45%. they're 15-7 at home they just need to do better on the road and so does he. if he can break them out on at leas a 6 game win streak a couple times they might get a winning record and maybe even make the playoffs.

im sorry.. but he was playing against the warriors... did you see how they played any defense on jennings?? there was non! IM SORRY I LIKE EVANS MORE!! THIS IS NOTHING.. IM WAITING FOT THE SACRAMENTO KINGS VS BUCKS TO SETTLE THINGS DOWN!! EVANS IS BETTER THAN THIS 55 POINT CRAP... JUST WAIT IT WILL TAKE TIME.
@phresh07
@phresh07 15 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I can agree on that. But, there isn't anything wrong with being "another A.I.", the only thing Brandon should look out for is if he wants to be a pure scorer, make sure you win a title otherwise he'll always be under A.I.. We both know Brandon will be a great player(no injuries hopefully) so you're right, we'll just have to wait and see.
@phresh07
@phresh07 15 жыл бұрын
Attitude has nothing to do with a player's ability to score, pass, and play defense. Larry Bird is notoriously known for his trash talking on the court and you see how great he is(let me throw MJ in there too). Brandon Jennings in cocky on the court because that's the mindset you HAVE to be in; that you can beat everyone and no one can stop you, and it scares the opponents.
@atlnigga03

tyreke evans is not a better player. he's good but he has to get passed just scoring. jennings can do so much more than just score, it has nothing to do with 55. and do u know how many great players there have been in the league that never even scored that high? 55 or not jennings is the better player
@vladimir4200
@vladimir4200 14 жыл бұрын
@thespicycabbage tyreke is much better as a pg then a sg, he does score more that a pg should but he does it bcuz almost everytime he plays its a mismatch. he is also missing k mart who is a very good spot up shooter so he will be more of a playmaker when kmart is back. tyreke roty and future hof!
@atlnigga03

jennings stats just dropped in his last 3 games. jennings is more conistent than evens. and 40 from the field isnt low, check his 3pt fg% its way higher than evens. evans is barely averaging 5 assits and went 2 5 3 his last three games. jennings will be rookie of the year trust me.

At least he has been to Italy. He is getting paid now. Down in Tucson there is nothing to do. It is just no snow down there. Snow boarding. No rivers to fish for trout. It is boring on Speedway. Rather fish for Lake Trouts on Lake Michigan. Plus, CHICAGO is just south.

Yeah essentially he did bro. Scoreless in the first, 55 in the next 3. But think about this: 29 in 3rd quarter. Multiply that X4 and you get 116. DUDE. That's a ludicrous amount for a quarter. I got a good feeling about this Brandon.
