yo i play 2k on pc as well and when i first got the game i experienced this as well. the thing i did to solve it, and keep in mind a have a pretty average pc, i changed my resolution scaling method to none because i found the nvidia made my game have microstutters. if your game still has freezes, i also recomend turning cloth physics off as well as motion blur, which is probably the biggest thing which causes lag. hope this helps. :) edit: also if you're REALLY desperate. just put the overall wuality down to medium and turn the crowd amount down

Something that MIGHT help is to open task manager (ctrl, shift, esc), go to details, find 2k, right-click, set priority to high, then go to "set affinity", and uncheck CPU0. That'll make your PC prioritize 2k, possibly fixing studders as your PC will be focusing on running 2k rather than keeping everything on your PC running at the same speed.

this is a good solution BUT easy anti cheat blocks this, however danny does play offline so he can run 2k without easy anticheat

On my pc i can't even launch 2k, it will crash every single time and give me an error and sometimes play a deafening noise in my headphones. I have reinstalled it twice and when i verified the integrity of the files my pc bluescreened. I have a similar pc to you danny and it sucks.

Hey, In resolution scaling quality I would switch to DLAA since you are on 1080p, you will lose some fps around 10. in advanced quality settings, cloth simulation destroyed my fps by 30, so I would suggest turning that off and try that. One more thing, I had a problem where I was lagging, so I went to the settings and rebuild the shaders and after few seconds of doing that my game was smooth.
