His feel for the game is impressive for a teenager. He's already a really good cutter and is active on defense

Rough start. But quickly became nba ready and a valuable piece for a Hawks playoff team. At just 19 yrs old, that's a LONG runway to become much much better. Perhaps all nba, all star, or at least a fringe all star.

Definitely an all-star at worst too be so young his iq & pacing & feel for the game is impressive once he adds muscle & grow into his adult body & get a couple of offseasons to develop certain skills he’ll be elite

He came into the league knowing all the little tricks seasoned vets use lol

What i love about him. He's a vet inside a 19 yr old. Imagine when he gets bigger and hones that 3 ball. Hes gonna be a major issue cause hes 6'9 which is big for a 3. Elite defense.

I really think if they traded for Ayton this team would immediately become contenders. He’s shown when he’s surrounded by versatile wings he plays at an all star caliber level (Bridges, Johnson, and Booker). Capela is past his prime, Ayton is bigger, longer and now a superior lob threat. He also has the ability to hit the 17 foot jumper at a solid clip. That would make such a huge difference for this team. I believe Ayton can still be a really impactful and winning player in the right position. I mean Jalen, Zach, and Dyson! Talk about a young trio of wings with crazy potential. I didn’t even mention Hunter or Bogdan. To go with Perennial all star and fantastic distributor Trae Young. Jay Huff is also someone I would target if I was them. He’s been an absolute stud for Memphis. He’s an athletic, legit 7’1 lob threat with a great three point stroke, great passing instincts, and is a formidable rim protector. Teams that need an upgrade at center need to target that guy…. Hawks included.

I was thinking the same, either ayton or someone like zubac if they could get him. I think they could get the most out of sarr too if they traded for him. Atl was always the perfect team for him I don’t know why he declined being drafted

@ Well Zach could end up being an absolute stud, but so could Sarr. So we’ll see. But ya Sarr would be great, but I don’t think the Wiz are gonna give him up. I’m on the Huff train though. Get him now while he’s cheap. The Grizzlies have 3 other guys that can play the 5 proficiently. The Blazers also have Clingan and Rob Williams… Ayton should be expendable. Capela ain’t it anymore though. And Okungwu is basically the same player, just cheaper lol.

Shooting percentage is trash. He shouldnt even be close to 4th place in ROTY
@TheGricecreamShop7 күн бұрын
You clearly haven't been watching recently, he's been shooting 50% from the field and 43% from three over the past two weeks, but sure man just look at the stats and act like you know what you're talking about.

For a rookie averaging 24 minutes a game who just became a starter I don’t think it’s too bad. He’s been shooting better lately so it’s going to go up a little too

funny how you sh ut when people put you back in you're place, he is the most balanced rookie of the years, defensively very reliable and now finding himself onthe offense step by step but you don't waych so don't talk
