If I had more time and not so many unfinished (or brand new) games, I'd have bought this 100% cause you really convinced me xD looks awesome and, as we've been talking once, I think moto gp games are much better than f1 games at the moment. Career mode looks amazing, one of the best that I've ever seen on a sport game, probably at the same level as the nba 2k franchise. I used to play moto gp games on ps3 a lot, much more than f1's. Unfortunately, I don't see myself now getting involved in a game like the one you are showing us. By the way, amazing video, so many improvements! Molto Bravo Ace! P.S. still waiting for MGS gameplay pt.2 though 😅

Metal_Serra Thank you very much for the comment mate, it’s most appreciated! As a huge MotoGP fanatic as you know I can’t recommend MotoGP 19 enough, it truly is the best MotoGP game to date! I’m working on a few projects at the moment but I will prioritise MGS pt 2 just for you amico!

Love this game, but it still ain't perfect. The AI is good but doesn't seem to respond to blocking at all, preferring to barge straight through you. They also seemed to be diving deep into corners in a Moto2 GP I tried, and frequently took me out like missiles on corner entry. The AI has really strong trail braking and usage of both brakes, but are tentative with corner exit -- could be due to their insane tyre management. They also like to ride very defensively, sometimes for no reason, taking early apexes. AI seems a lot stronger in the slower classes, I had a much harder time in the Rookies and Moto3 classes than what I've trialled so far in the Moto2 and MotoGP classes. I definitely agree that Moto2 is more fun than the MotoGP, especially now that it has no traction control. Ant and Post are anterior (front) and posterior (rear) tyres respectively. Much of the HUD hasn't been translated from it's native Italian and this is an example of that. The ringed numbers show temperature and colour of ring shows overheating or cold tyres. The bars show tyre wear. Some gripes of mine are the limited camera movement controls, as it's restricted to such a tight box that you can't get wide photos. Even with all electronic and game assists off, their is still a form of anti-wheelie in the controls -- full throttle shows the throttle input being managed as the green bar on HUD drops when the front wheel is raised in the air. Braking control is too weak for my liking as with full front braking the bike stays level and fairly settled, and if you lean forwards then the braking force is managed to avoid flipping the bike. With the rear wheel in the air, the rear brake won't stop the wheel even with the engine disengaged. The bikes are also quite slow to change direction, even with minimum trail and rake. If you watch any real motorcycle racing footage you'll see how quickly bikes can change direction, almost twice as fast as they do in-game. Overall, I just want more freedom and control in this game. Otherwise, it is definitely very good, and the best motorcycle racing game currently available I'd say. Sorry for rambling :)))

Alex W Thanks for your comment Alex, I appreciate you helping me with some of the HUD elements! I’m inclined to agree with everything you’ve said here, Moto2 shines without traction control and Moto3 was so much harder than any other classes in my career mode. I played career mode extensively after I made this video and had an absolute blast, but I do recall the AI being incredibly defensive even on the early laps, I still think even on 120% difficulty there’s a player decision to dictate if you can keep the race close and entertaining or you can just open the throttle even more and just win by large gaps. I much prefer the former. Here’s hoping for greatness in MotoGP 20!!

Think ant and post will be anterior (front) and posterior (rear) tyre temps.

Do AI riders actually have DNF's when they throw it down the road?...
@DrAce465 жыл бұрын
Super Steve Sadly not mate, they get back on the bike pretty quickly which is a shame.. but they do crash via there own errors

Love the term "Throw it down the road!"
@Icem4n845 жыл бұрын
@@DrAce46 I'm an ex racer, we use that term a lot. Lol Good review by the way! I've always had a gripe with bike games when I can DNF but the AI does not.

Super Steve Thanks it’s much approached 👍🏻 I’m currently playing the MotoGP pro Career and I immediately retire if I crash, I like to keep realism. Sometimes they crash and struggle to get through the AI riders but most of the time they’ll charge back up the middle of the pack

@@DrAce46 I put all the race laps to real, as well but I tinker with the controls. A bike game can never replicate that feeling from the front brake or the sense of speed.
