Remember playing against him when his school hosted a tournament and he was already in the youth national team by then. We were around 12-13 years old and he was already pretty known as the next big thing back then. We lost like 89-16 or something

😂 I went last January to Chicago to grant two wishes. One Time sees a basketball game in the "legendary" Bulls Stadium to have some Jordan feelings and to see Dennis one time playing in the NBA. He played with the Raptors against the Bulls. It was an expensive experience, but it was worth every penny. I wish you all the best and enjoy it.

That Livio guy is the true hero of the story. To see talent and take Dennis under his wing is probably the one thing that changed his whole life. As for racism, all they can do is hate and talk, however, even they can't stand in front of his dreams. His success puts salt in their wounds. Also amazing that he reinvested in his home town and saved the club/people that got him where he is.

Echt etwas Pipi in den Augen. Da wo er herkommt und wo er jetzt ist und alles, wie er meine Stadt vertritt und diese niemals vergisst, egal was ist, ist krass. Du kriegst Dennis aus Braunschweig aber nie Braunschweig aus Dennis. Es erfüllt mich einfach mit stolz, so jemanden aus der eigenen Stadt zu haben. Was er für die Nationalmannschaft leistet ist Crazy aber was er hier für die Leute, den Verein, der Stadt und auch für die Kinder leistet ist mehr als unbeschreiblich und das ist mehr wert als alles andere. Ich bin Mega stolz auf ihn und das alles und freue mich auf die Zukunft wenn er wieder nach Hause kommt. Seit der Übernahme ist nicht nur die sportliche Existenz gesichert von den Basketball Löwen sondern auch langfristig viel gesichert. Seitdem er den Verein übernommen hat, sind die Spiele immer größer geworden, mehr Leute kamen und kamen und seit der WM 2023, Platzt die Halle meist aus allen Nähten und es ist einfach schön zu sehen. Ich kenne die Phantoms noch und wo Schröder hier angefangen hat. Mit dem Verein hat man auch schon so einiges durch über die Jahre aber die Liebe zu diesem und der Stadt ist und bleibt für immer unverändert riesig
