What makes this story powerful is that the doctors said he didn’t have much time to live but thru the amazing love and support that was brought into him he beat the odds and lived twice as long as he was supposed to ! Absolutely beautiful.. they gave him a life no one thought was possible and he gave them back love like no other I’m sure

Exactly. It actually emphasizes the family's goodness, as we all know how brutally challenging it must be to raise a child with the physical ailments Michael had. There's good, too, of course, in such a life shared, but it takes special people to see it that way and to follow through lovingly for decades.

4:50 I saw some people on social media say that Charles was heartless to say something like this. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is what is known as "Honesty". We are honest with ourselves about what we can and cant do, but to admit to the world what we can and cant do takes courage. We are not perfect as humans, and Charles is just that, hes Human, explaining what he cant do. A class act through and through and a person that sets one of the finest examples of what a man is supposed to be. My heart goes out to EJ and his family. I also have mad respect for these three. It's obvious how much they love and respect EJ. You can hear the emotion in Kenny's voice as he was talking. No wonder Inside the NBA is greatest sports show ever.

Ernie is a huge role model for every kid in Milwaukee whos even heard the word "NBA". I'll always owe my highschool basketball career to Ernie, always wanted to one day be interviewed by him and tell him how many kids look up to him. back then i looked up to him because he's an analyst, but now i look up to him for something more than that: him being an amazing, beautiful, and caring human being who doesn't deserve ANYTHING to harm him physically or mentally. we love you ernie, praying for you and Cheryl. and i know Michael is in a better place right now, probably hooping like he never got a chance to on earth and dominating

We are with you Ernie ❤️ I grew up at a time where Michael Jordan was larger than life. I stopped paying close attention to the NBA after he retired. This show is 100% of the reason I came back. None of the individuals on here are replaceable. They are so truly genuine, for better or worse, and I respect and appreciate that so much. With that said, Ernie is the cornerstone. It wouldn’t work without him and who he is as a person. It shines through every night. My sincere condolences to Ernie and his family.
