The irony is you 🤡 revising history about how ppl talked about Steph. Trae literally has already done more than Curry did his first 5 years in the league in the playoffs. Curry's first 5 yeras included 3 years where he missed the playoffs, 1 playoff series win over mediocre Nuggets team, and a 1st round exit. Now Im not saying that Trae is going to go on to become a top 10 player of all-time like Curry, but it's way too early to tell. Curry didn't have the coaching/cast around him early in his career. This is the 1st year where Trae has had even close to decent help around him even though Murray isn't as good as Klay, and he just got a legitimate coach just a couple months ago.

Most of it is because they had such a lousy coach that they got rid of too late. The new coach is trying to get rid of all of their old habits and get young guys who should have been in the rotation and developed much further in a guy like Jalen Johnson who may be the key to the Hawks reaching new heights.

He’s way too ball dominant at times and takes ill advised shots that takes the team out of rhythm. Trae is in the playoffs over Luka, and the Luka fan boys in the media decided they needed to create this BS storyline to overshadow that inconvenient truth. The Hawks should not have called Young. That is where they messed up. When you're mediocre, then moves need to be made. The fact is that Young is a 6ft inefficient volume shooter who is atrocious defensively. I don't know what his market is, but when more than one HC has been fired under your watch, clearly there's an issue.
