After 10 years at 30 Rock and being a party to live broadcasts, the appearance of this dreaded graphic was accompanied by clipped/shouted commands from the director and ep. What you might hear if you were on the phone with someone who was stuck in a phone booth (remember those?) during a flash fire. Of course those of us who weren't part of the transmission problem had wry smiles on our faces, cuz it wasn't us screwing up.

This used it back in 1989 as well, one video of commercials recorded off KHQ-TV had a Commercial but Camera issues and shows this same screen for almost a second. I Found A Recorded Tape Off of eBay and it has a Technical Moment at a NBC Show during it's Broadcast between 1997. Recorded off KNBC.

ABC did this to me once. Started airing promos until the network got their act together.

Now when network difficulties happen on NBC the peacock logo will show with the normal colors until it reappears with different colors. With the NBC jingle

Don't you just hate when. you stare at this current NBC logo on your Tv screen with the words "One Moment Please" below it? You'll wonder, "When is the Program 'Seinfeld' gonna be back again?" This is a boring slide.
