Well done! NBC is King of the Olympics! They have that classic music from John Williams and Company they use with there amazing intros and they also have Bob Costas!

No, they are getting pretty bad, they don't even play Williams Olympic theme itself at the start like they used to which really takes you out of it.

They need to bring back the opening intros, they took them away during the last summer games.
@petrickm24 күн бұрын
They did it last summer, it was narrated by Leslie Odom. They didn't do one for Beijing 2022, which I'm willing to bet is because of logistical and political nightmares of location and covid...
@retrowarehouse255420 күн бұрын
@@petrickm Yeah, I agree it's likely the location and the pandemic that forced them into not doing one, but I see this year it returned, now that we're back to having a normal Olympics again.

People bitched so much about Rio hosting the Olympic games but they did a wonderful job!!! Now I was NOT happy w how NBC put together the events, having to wait until the very end to see the Gymnastic events and then end up showing 5 minutes of it or say sorry you'll half to watch this after cause we weren't paying attention to the time pissed me off. Hopefully they will be better this year for the games in South Korea.

Do you have the video for NBC Opening PyeongChang Olympic Games 2018?

Like to see Maria Taylor host the 2028 Summer Olympics as what Bob Costas used to do. Also for Jessica Alba do the narration with the montage before the opening ceremony.

NBC has big fucking flaws, but it at least has epic intros and Williams music Now imagine that production with everything live without the reality tv show thematics, tape delay and American exceptionalism to the point where all the other athletes and sports are thrown away like trash

You want more background and reality, facts good and bad, read the UNEXPURGATED Works of CAROLINA MARIA DE JESUS. A brilliant black woman who independently raised three children in the Favela -- desperately poor slums -- and let nothing stop her from writing poems, novels, plays, essays and her amazing diary. I can't look at any of this without thinking of her.

could be only me....but these Olympics seem boring. I had to change channel after hearing the same questions and answer. Majority of these athletes are already multi millionaires. 95% of the folks representing other countries train and live in USA for 9 months/year. go figure. These games just don't have the glitz of past. I'm sick of Costas. he too is a millionaire
