NBC Saturday Night Promos (April 30, 1988)

This is a promo that aired on NBC for it's upcoming Saturday night comedy block of sitcoms for the night of April 30, 1988.
1.) "The Facts of Life" (S9 E23: "The Beginning of the End"): This is the first of a special two-part episode that will serve as the series finale of this long-running spinoff of the 1978-86 NBC/ABC sitcom "Diff'rent Strokes"
When Blair (Lisa Whelchel) discovers that Eastland is in dire financial straits, she decides she has to make a tough decision about her future: she uses her trust fund to buy the school and save it from closing - and Eastland becomes coed. Juliette Lewis, Mayim Bialik, Seth Green, Meredith Scott Lynn and Kathleen Freeman appear in this two-part finale.
Note: This is part one of the two-part series finale, with less focus on the core group and the introduction of many new characters in what seems to be the set up for a spin-off that never happened. It is also the 200th episode of the show and Mackenzie Astin's final appearance as Andy Moffett.
2.) "227" (S3 E23: "Country Cousins"): Lester (Hal Williams) is informed that he has an inheritance coming to him. But before he can collect it, he has to live with some distant relatives and discovers that they are country folk and white.
3.) "The Golden Girls" (S3 E24: "Mr. Terrific"): Rose (Betty White) starts dating television superhero "Mr. Terrific." He gets Dorothy (Beatrice Arthur) a job on his show, but Dorothy's recommendations to the producer get Mr. Terrific fired. This causes Rose to become upset at Dorothy, who feels terrible for putting herself first. She tries to get Mr. Terrific back on the show, but ends up as his replacement. Meanwhile, Blanche (Rue McClanahan) orders a new bed, and despite receiving the wrong one, she likes it so much she doesn't say anything, causing her to fear the police are coming after her.
4. "Amen" (S2 E20): "A Slight Case of Murder: Part 1"): Deacon Frye (Sherman Hemsley) defends a woman (special guest star Jackée Harry, "227") accused of murdering her husband and much to everyone's surprise, falls in love with her.
