At first I thought this was a remaster of the trailer using the original negatives but then I noticed that the clips of Mr. Spacely throwing a tantrum and saying "Space, the final frontier!" (which aren't in the movie) are obviously redrawn versions of the original to make them fit with the movie's HD footage.

Such a brilliant scene (and also all the build up to it, this being the last episode of season1)! Hill Street Blues is easily one of the best, most influential shows ever…

"In 1974, audiences across American were horrified by the brutality and the savagery of a faceless killer. In the wake of this bizarre rampage, he vanished. Now after more than a decade of silence, he has returned and he's come out of hiding. THE BUZZ IS BACK!"

Wonderful acting by JR, would bring a tear to your eye to this day. Especially as he very rarely welled up himself. And compounded by Jim Davis' untimely passing. A most fitting send off.

Great series! My favorite years were the first 2 when they filmed/taped on location. One thing I didn't understand was how the writers deleted Chuck. The Cunningham's had 3 children. Can't forget that.

This is the first time i saw these commercials. Most of get together to do some commercials for a computer company and didn't even try to have cameo's in the Spin-offs of their show. I saw After Mash and really wished Halkeye , BJ, Trapper would have had a small cameo to boost the show.

Definitely early in the season: sometime soon afterward, CBS's screen promo font would have a change: the "R" would change to a diagonal leg.
