Years later they have confirmed that they actually did make a registry and can search for any firearm make and model they so desire. Yet they are not facing accountability for their actions in front of congress or anything like that. Am sure they are going to say it was for our best interest to let them do as they please.

Persons who use un-serialized guns(or any guns) in a crime should be prosecuted. Persons who make their own guns(as they have for 100s of years) for their own personal LAWFUL use should be left alone. Biden /Feds could care less about safety. They want serial numbers and background checks so they KNOW WHO HAS GUNS making it easy for them to confiscate them in the future.

Yeah, it’s funny how they completely left out, mentioning anything regarding the fact that tracing a firearm by its serial number will only tell you who originally bought that gun and if it’s sold, then it’s of no use then and all the taxpayer money got WASTED searching for some thing they find out doesn’t have a name attached!!!!

Just because a very small number of criminals use these why should I be penalized and unable to purchase my own. BTW have you priced these guns? They are much more expensive than purchasing a serialized gun out of a car trunk.

They are saying it's not legal to create a searchable system. That has to pass through congress first. I'm sure they are aware of ocr and other methods.

Guns can't be traced. Serial number of not. They can be matched. If you have spent bullets and the actual firearm.
