As a dancer myself, I have always felt that 60+% of every performance is due to the talent of the choreographer and the other 40+% is due to the talent of the dancers….so annoyed that they didn’t give credit to their choreographer on air. Bad juju!!! 😢😢😢 Even though Brent Street dancers are phenomenal, I am ashamed to be an Aussie dancer right now because there is no way that I would ever not credit the choreographer!!! 😢

This wasn't a wild acrobatic group dance routine we have become accustomed to, but I think I enjoyed it even more. This was absolute perfection! In every way possible! I’ve been in the business for 60 years, including being a professional dancer, teacher, dance, studio, owner, adjudicator for dance, competitions, and master class convention teacher. I have never seen anything like this! This choreographer is brilliant, brilliant brilliant! Her grass for storytelling with the music is above top Notch her use of 30 dancers and staging is exceptional! And how she was able to get them to be 100% in unison the entire dance is quite a feat! Especially when Every single dancer up there is telling the same story!!! which is truly an amazing accomplishment!

When you listen go listen to the lyrics of the song and how the dance was orchestrated it's very touching. Especially the end when everyone tries to attack the main dancer & they miss while he gets away and jumps off the stage it is a representation that "you can't take me down!" As many others have already pointed out, there is an extraordinary link between the music, the lyrics and the dance here that almost assuredly none of the judges picked up on and likely most of the audience missed. To have a dance that is so intertwined with the lyric that actually tells a story is rare, though should be standard in dance in my view. Cannot wait to see where they go.

It's one of the best choreographies I've seen in a long time. V unbeatable will always hold the best standards for dance groups in terms of acrobatics, daredevilish heights... but it's the choreography, precision, and timing. This group is from Brent Street where if you get accepted you are training to be a professional dancers. The choreographer I believe is Paris Cav who is outstanding and I hope this gets Paris’s choreographing known around the world. But that’s why it felt so establish, as these kids will be somewhere in the advanced dance or musical theatre diploma training for professional jobs over the coming years. Many of our professional musical theatre industry come from Brent Street. There’s also tv series about a year in the life of Brent street students.

I do not know what is so mesmerizing about this dance corp, but I have been rewatching this performance at least 3 times a day. The energy is still so intense that it makes me tear up each time.
