There always have been, are, and always will be, limits to "Free Speech" in the 1st Amendment. Screaming FIRE when there is no fire is a classic example. One that I still haven't been able to figure out WHY they have been totally ignoring, is the 2nd reason defined in Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, it actually is an update to the 1st Amendment as a result of the Civil War, it defines limits on it. "or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof." No Laws have to be broken, just SUPPORTING them in any way disqualifies them. It applies to any current or former member of our Government or our Military at any level. They swore an Oath to Serve and Protect the United States, it's Constitution and violated it, how can they POSSIBLY be trusted to not do it again?

I am a 73 year old TiToker and love it but if it's existence threatens our security I am all up for pulling the plug . KZbin used to be my favorite platform for free speech but now I will be surprised if this comnent is not banned ! Freedom of speech here is going away already long gone on Facebook. Freedom of speech is NOT unlimited. There ARE limits built into the Constitution and all our laws. It always HAS been limited - to keep people from being hurt. If you commit SLANDER against someone, for instance, it is illegal. Libel is illegal. Lying about someone's professional life and hurting their career with untruth is ALSO illegal. - especially when it comes to creating chaos by your words. For instance, you CAN'T yell "FIRE" in a crowded theatre and not get into serious trouble. You can't spread lies about witnesses in a case and promote violence against the witnesses.

We're supporting Israel likening Hamas to Hitler to giving them billions of money as well as money to who knows where it goes now. Iran, Iraq, Israel, Palestine, Gaza, Hamas. Where do you draw the line. I am a Biden supporter but this is a real mess.I guess now the US stand is to unequivocally stand behind Israel no matter what they do. We've told them our worries but Biden comes out with this? Antisemitisim is a big buzz word. All these stats that it is on the rise can be arguable. It may be a scare tactic. At this point, I don't trust any of them. Esp the Supreme Court. Such a disappointment.

I am Jewish and have always been a supporter of Israel, but as time goes on--my entire life--I now understand Israel has one of the strongest if not THE strongest military might. You don't want to make them really mad esp when they have that right wing Netanyatu (sp?) in charge. He seems ruthless. This is even more complex than it seems on tv--which is almost mind blowing it's so complex and seemingly impossible. When the Arab countries came in, things changed. We're living in a global economy so apparently that is the unspoken reason as well. It's not all antisemiticism. It's more about land and property, the ability to navigate through what you thought was your country. It is much less about religious beliefs. Although the actors use religious rhetoric to justify their actions, but it's really about expanding Israel and rejecting the two state solution. Israel has been going too far for a long time. It is the most sanctioned UN country for years. They just ignore that. I don't know what the answer is and with all the players it gets more muddled everyday. But we keep sending money over there. Still. ????

@@mennavanessa Thank you for the history, I didn't know that. It's the way it should be. There is also this idea that this is THE "holy land" and that bothers me. By now they've destroyed it. They destroyed the thing they were fighting over. The US has been trying to navigate this problem for as long as I can remember, about 50 years and it's been longer than that. I am sick to my stomach about Israel. The students are not entirely wrong and I do think they had an impact. A whole bunch of companies are getting really wealthy from all this money we're spending on military "aid." Like it's helped. I don't know what's happening in Ukrains bc the news is dominated by the ongoing series: Trump's Criminal Charges. Sickening. All of it. I think Israel is going to destroy Palentine and displace everyone who isn't Jewish. Or doesn't fall in line with the current leadership. We shouldn't be supporting dictators. I am saddened to see my long time party do things like this. It won't make me vote for Trump but it does change things. Prob still vote Dem and hope someone else steps in.

Did you ever wonder why schools like Carnegie Mellon don't protest? They have so many military contracts and are raking in the bucks from their Robotics, AI, drones and other military equipment. It's basically an extension of the Pentagon. We also have the U of Pgh which had few protests of little consequence and they partner with CMU and do research and have military contracts for chemical warfare and do work for homeland security. Pittsburgh is solid financially off this blood money. People see it as this blue collar union town and there is that still lingering but the real money, and prob fewer people are helping the military. Meanwhile down in the coal mines, the unions beg.

OMG! The royal family is indeed as cruel as they always have been through history. My own mother and I had been estranged for many years, but just before her death she was open to talk to me and told me she loved me. That was the first time ever. So she let me have that peace of mind. Charles, however, as many monarchs before him are too cruel to grant his son the love he deserves. You can disagree with people, but to fall out of love with your own son is just unacceptable in God's eyes.
