Why do network news channels risk their staff’s lives for these live shots? Why not contract with a few storm chasers to get them their live shots? Personally, I feel that I get better news and images from Reed Timmer. Millions of people without electricity, hundreds of people's homes completely destroyed even before landfall from tornados, multiple confirmed deaths, life threatening floods all over. But sure, not dangerous at all.
