Sorry to dash your hope, but the comments only seem good because top rated comments are displayed first. The replies tell the true story. Perhaps KZbin's love of trying to silence controversy by sweeping objectionable opinions out of sight is an allegory for the folly of the left's attempts to silence even the slightest opposition. Shouting down and intimidating into silence those who don't agree with us doesn't make their opinions go away.

“A Promised Land” live up to the promise of being an inimitable pleasure trip through an unexplored path through a hidden landscape of what we call as USA. Wonderfully written, sincere and nuanced, with all Obama's selflessness and accuracy. Obama's word is straightforward, simple to understand, yet full of the fragrances of education. As an outsider, I Believe that his America is exactly what America be supposed to be and is also the America that I visualized in my mind. He is in fact one of the brightest alumni of Harvard From the Preface to 1st chapter bring out the spirit of a noble mind, genuinely caring man who wants to make an optimistic change in his life time and world we exist in. The phrases and portraits indicate who he really is as a genuine human being. As you go through the book , you can listen to Obama's voice and expression clearly. it seems he is speaking exactly to the reader with thoroughly Selected words. This book, and Michelle Obama’s book, overall are the two most inspiring volumes I have ever read out. Let us pray that upcoming Presidents have as much civility, morality, integrity and moral judgement, motivation for good! There is no wonder that it’s a no.1 Bestseller Book! It's an remarkable book. Nothing more needs to be said than this. So you want to be lied to and have his pen behind the curtain bleed USA drive. Lowest Latino & black unemployment rates ever? Highest forclosures? While he sold the port of Long beach to China. While Biden flew on airforce 2 and collected 1B from china for his son hunter? He growing jihad cause his dad was a muslim. Look it up. Lookup his dad. Lookup his communist mentor marshall davis. Wake up it's not about Trump the DNC wants full communism.

it doesn't sound like you live in a democracy anymore yourself. jailing people for not wearing masks outside. sounds like something nazis would do during the holocaust if you ask me. in fact, that's exactly what would have happened. progressives are not getting their way with trump in office, so they stopped playing nice and are causing more harm to the world than any other time in history.

you are correct. Obama was a great president. You can either be a leader who divides or one that unites. Obama has always tried to unite, trump has always tried to divide. republicans have less influence now that ever before because trump has shown the country what the republicans are like and who they support. This is because they voted to divide the country when they elected trump.
