Burgess was disappointed in Ruzek and then she began to develop feelings for her partner. That's right, don't blame Roman. The decision was made by Kim.

More than likely when Roman says mom, he is referencing a stepmom since his died and his sister is 13 years younger than him. Most couples don't wait that long between children. He is 30 because he said he was born in 1989.

I think the romance between Roman and Burgess could easily resurface. Too bad that part of the plot could not be developed further due to the theme of the chapter, but from the way they look at each other I have no doubt that there is still love.

Even if Sean Roman did find his missing kid sister before she got frozen to death, would she get angry at him and say that she doesn't need his help, despite helping a drug dealer whether she would be going to prison or not?
