Let this be a lesson for drone flyers, DON"T FLY IT NEAR HELICOPTERS! last year roughly around 13 helicopters that were fighting a forest fire, had to be immediately grounded. all because someone wanted a "nice" shot of the fire... almost lost 30 houses including mine if they continued flying the drone. so don't cry if your 2k drone is destroyed by a pissed off firefighter and police unit. (I know this is a show, but it still grinds my gears)

remember guys, fly your drones low enough from any other air vehicle altitude that you will have your own airspace. i suggest 51 or 52 feet on average drone piloting.

FAA requires you to check with local towers. Literally download and read your local air map if you're flying anything about 20 feet, depending on where you live you could break the law if you don't check.

@Tristen Burkhardt What is your point? Real drones can hit actual aircraft taking off/landing or in rare cases flying low. Usually, these cases occur at Heathrow, I saw the airport shut down many times due to these drones, and sometimes, planes actually hit them.

A kid was stupidly flying a drone too high and it collided with the helicopter, resulting in it crushing. It actually was not the pilots fault, but the kids - the pilot had little time to react since it would've occurred in a mere few seconds.
