Great Season Finale!! This episode was powerful..It showed black men on both sides of the spectrum in my opinion...Being racially profiled and one being an officer where his integrity is being challenged. One of the best episodes of the series! Whatever your stance is..."Stand for nothing, fall for everything." This episode really delved deep into Kevin's psyche and showed his true moral compass. I salute him with respect. I'm White, living in NYC 🗽, so you know we are it all here; yet everyone turns a blind eye to discrimination. I've literally, on a smaller scale, had to call out people at school, work, etc...because I cannot deal with the fuckery. I've also dealt with all the fallout and repercussions. OMG, this scene is so legendary what a cliffhanger and I know this wasn't even the original season finale but it was done so well it minus well had been the season finale. This scene gave me goosebumps it felt like Denzel in Training Day where he said, "KING KONG AIN'T GOT NOTHING ON ME!" Kevin Atwater is hands down my favorite character on the show and he usually has the best episodes. This was the last ep of the season? I'm not sure how they did it but from the beginning of the episode till this part it kept getting dramatically better with me on the edge of my seat. Atwater took a page from Captain America book about standing up for whats right even if the whole world turns against you. Just finished watching all of season 5 & 6. I have to say I am not really with the character of Upton. I realize replacing Lindsay was going to be tough but Upton is just a plain character. Even when they tried to give her some back story and depth it was just squandered. Maybe its the actress, I dont know, just not feeling her. I have not watched season 7 yet, maybe she gets better but from what I saw in Season 5 & 6, the actress is going to have to do a lot of work on the character.
