They KNOW and LIKE one another, and they TRUST one another; that can look very much like a marriage to people on the outside; especially when there are kids involved. And if the kids didn't respect and trust Kim as well, they'd let Kevin KNOW it. She's very protective of them, as well - she wouldn't let Kevin go without having her along, when she found out there was something wrong with Vanessa - and you get the feeling she'd protect them with her life, if it came to that. So there is a very family-like dynamic here (made especially real because these are some really good actors involved) that pretty much confirms the idea that "family" can be more than blood relations.

Lol, theres multiple ways to make hot chocolate dude, not just milk. Its actually recommended that you use water instead of milk to lower the amount of calories it has. I think water cuts the calorie intake by half.
