As a Penguin fan I must say I'm kinda shocked by this. I figured it would be at the least a 6 game series for the winner before the playoffs started. Penguins have their hands full with the Islanders obviously but honestly I'm not sure if either team can beat Boston the way they are playing right now.

I'm a Caps fan who doesn't get it either, but this has been the story of The Alex Ovechkin Era. I'm happy he won the Cup once in DC, but I've never seen a more talented era in a team's history be as mishandled as these Caps have been.

I’ll tell you why, as talented as they are they have an old roster who gets out worked by younger faster teams. They need to get younger ASAP or they wikl continued to lose. Cant win with an older oshie, backstrom, ovi, Eller, chara, etc. kuznetsov is 29 but he played awful !

which bright spark approved that on screen game graphic? its almost illegible when a team is on a pp or its 4 on 4. Trying to cram too much info into a space that's not big enough never works. The old style one - see NBC Washington's game 5 coverage - much easier on the eye
