Thank you for your comment. With the exception of about four players, the roster is a joke. So is the coaching staff. I’m embarrassed to be a Patriot’s fan. A team that’s won six Super Bowls should know how to have a reasonably winning season and at least get into the playoffs. Is this the way Kraft runs his other companies? At the beginning of the season it was refreshing to watch Mayo on Fifth Quarter. After a couple of games though I began thinking that Mayo needed to be quiet. As much as many talked about Belichick’s ‘mumbling’ and not answering questions, Mayo needs to take a page out of the Belichick playbook - say nothing. Mayo needs to stop giving media fodder to criticize him and the entire team all week long. Let’s also STOP the discussions about who should be fired or let go after each loss. The Patriots players and their staff have family and friends that reside in New England. I can’t imagine how this constant negativity weighs on them, I know it definitely brings my spirits down. My expectations were not high this year given the inexperienced staff and roster with holes to fill. As a result the team’s performance has met my expectations. I think that we have had some entertaining games that we won and others that the score was close yet we couldn’t close the deal with a win. Obviously we have had some bad games too. I’m old enough to remember the pre-Brady era where we were the bottom feeders in the league. I’m prepared to ride with my team through this down cycle. I’m looking forward to the rebuild and growth in the upcoming years. Let’s demonstrate the grace going forward during this rebuild to not call for people’s jobs to be taken away when we lose and for those players and staff who don’t remain with us, thank them for playing for the NE Patriots and providing us entertainment (good or bad) each Sunday.

Things I think need to happen. 1. Wolf & Mayo and Krafts needs to add talent on Oline free agency/trades and draft 2. WR free agency free agency and draft 3. Pass rusher 4. Covington needs to go, a new DC is needed 5. Mayo needs to improve as head coach and needs to have a winning record by Bye week next year. He needs to make major changes to his interactions with the media (needs to stfu )& his players. 6. AVP has shown enough for me for him to stay at least one more year but I need to see improved play calling or he needs to give the in game play calling up for someone that can.

We have a couple of good cornerstone pieces like Maybe, Gonzalez, and our RBs are decent enough if they have a good team around them. We need that O-line to be majorly shored up and get at least one top flight WR. Like pay for 3 new, but proven veteran O-line players and the first round pick used on the best WR available.

They'll get rid of AVP, to give the appearance that they are doing something. Kraft's goal is HOF, not necessarily winning. Pats just have to be making progress. Kraft may have become a good owner, but BB did his work for years. If you are going to hire a young, inexperienced defensive-minded coach, pay for a solid supporting cast to train him. I wonder what their dream staff originally looked like. Did they not expect Steve B to leave?

I have to admit I’m more surprised at the reaction that people have as to how bad this team is then well, how bad the team really is! We knew this was a bad team going into the season. The Pats were the ONLY team not favored in preseason analysis to win in any game they played for this season. This was a bad team going into the season and it’s a bad team now. No one should be surprised at this. This is a 3 year rebuild. We are in year 1. Maybe, if we draft well, get better coaching and get some experienced OLine players we might be a 7 win team next year. Well I hate to say it but it's the krafts fault you hired the gm you hired the oc you didn't hire a DC that had a new gameplan and you decided to not play to the strengths of your defense bill had the gameplan for the defense and you don't even try to use any of that knowledge then you destroy the core and look at the team self destruct because the players aren't playing to strengths they are running plays that are the opposite and offensive play design has recievers running to the same spot running Into each other or clothing throwing lanes because the wrs are stacked mid route avp and gm bare the weight of this season
