Mayos arrogance will not change and adding talent this offseason won’t improve the situation, you’ve got a coach that thinks he was an asset in the 2014 season and XLIX Super Bowl, their was no reason for the Patriots to look as sloppy as they did yesterday.

It’s so clear Mayo is overwhelmed and not ready for this position. Yet the roster is an issue and has been the whole year. It’s arguably the same defense minus a couple injuries which also dealt with last year losing judon and Gonzalez. Defense was supposed to be his specialty and yet they can’t stop anyone. Again though this isn’t all of his fault, this is krafts fault and using bill as a scapegoat. Kraft deserves all the criticism.

It’s obvious that Robert Kraft’s experiment with DEI and affirmative action fell flat on its face. The NFL, like America, is best man up! The only reason why people are watching right now is because of one player and one player only - Drake Maye. Jerod Mayo chose Jacoby Brissett to start the season as if it was an equal playing field - it wasn’t. Jacoby Brissett is a nice guy, but he’s no Drake Maye. That’s the point. You don’t pick players and coaches by “what they are,” but by “who they are.” Mayo is a DEI hire that failed. OK. We get it Robert. But there’s gonna be a lot of empty seats at Gillette, - more than there already are if you keep this sham going.

too many penalties, not enough talent and REALLY bad coaching staff.. I think Mayo needs to go as HC, he wouldn't even be a good defensive coordinator... At this rate, they are picking 1 or 2 in the draft and I hope they use it for some REAL talent.. Mayes career will be wasted if they dont change EVERYTHING from top down... Stop being cheap Kraft family... please... This team has SUCKED since Brady left...

@martinleavitt6094 they are currently #3, and the 2 teams above them have 2 wins.. so yes, its feasible that they can be better (worse) than 4 or 5... its unlikely they get #1 but if they lose out as expected and the Giants or Raiders stupidly win a game or 2, then they can... most likely top 3 for another year..

Enough with them picking a CB2 and maybe project WR at 3 in the draft. That would be idiotic beyond words. There's something to be said for drafting the best player available, sure. But the reason Hunter may be the best player is predominantly his 2-way play in college. That isn't going to matter in the NFL. Basically, you'd be drafting the guy for the wrong reasons, just like they did with Polk. Further, as he is only truly great at CB, you'd be drafting redundancy on a roster full only if holes. Drafting redundancy when your league's worst line is going to continue to hamstring you, and your rush is way worse than your CB room. Also, you can definitely get a competent CB2 later in the draft. They're taking OT or they better be, else start scouting HS QB prospects now because we're on the loser team QB carousel, everybody.
