Goedert’s untimely injuries over the years have not only taken away at least 2 Pro Bowls from him. But they have significantly downplayed how elite he actually is. And I still think some Eagles fans don’t actually appreciate how good he actually is. He now has the single most franchise post season receptions in team history and is closing in on being in the top 5 all-time for franchise regular season receptions. Not to mention he has the single highest catch percentage of any tight end in NFL history. Goedert is a beast (when healthy) and is the very best combination of Celek and Ertz.
@stephenharper100911 сағат бұрын
100% agree…maybe I’m crazy but I like him more then Ertz….never seen Ertz do anything remotely close to the play for the td today
@1stand1110 сағат бұрын
@@stephenharper1009You’re not crazy at all. I’ve always much preferred Goedert to Ertz. The reason being because he’s a much more elite all around tight end. The problem with Goedert, going back years, is his untimely injuries have really hidden how good he actually is because his end of season stats have consistently hidden his elite production on a game by game basis when healthy. And that makes people overlook and forget about him. Even this year, he essentially only played 8 games and 1 quarter. And he was ridiculously efficient with 42 catches on only 52 targets (81% catch rate) for 496 yards (11.81 YPC) and 2 TD’s. If you stretch that rate of production out over a full season you’re looking at, or just around, a Pro Bowl season. And that’s been Goedert’s problem for years and why he hardly gets recognition. Injuries have hidden his Pro Bowl level play for years now.
@brandonbenson44417 сағат бұрын

Kellen Moore threw the ball at one point 6 straight times in the red zone. On the possession prior on 3rd and 5 from the 40 he decided to throw the ball behind the LOS with the smallest person on the field as the lead blocker and then didn’t go for it on 4th down. Only to then punt the ball thru the back of the end zone for a net of 15 yards. It was baffling
