Love the shout-out to the Athletics museum! I'm originally from Horsham and visited a few times and loved it--it was in downtown Hatboro (situated across from what is currently a cool music-themed brewery worth checking out called Artifact Brewing), a great museum--really sad when it went

Nick made Brian Johnson the fall guy (Qb coach in 2022), Nicks 15 play script is garbage and he needs to take his pride out of his coaching. The entire flow of the game is ruined when you’re going 3 - out every and throwing you’re weak defense out to dry. What’s obvious is that we need to turn the page on the old dogs. There’s too many business decisions being made by injury prone vets. Slay, Maddox and CJ are trying to tackle without getting hurt. I’d rather have Cooper, Ringo and QM out there learning on the fly.

I think this is also why Jalen’s relationship with him is strained. Hurts had a close relationship with Brian Johnson.

Man that question about Hurts and Sirianni nails it. Just feels like they’re not a good match coach to player.

6:31 Roob, there are guys wide open anyway with this crappy passive defense! What difference is it gonna make? I'd rather blitz and give up a 50 yard completion than continuously give up these long drives of 8-12 yards at a time over and over and over

So refreshing to know I’m not the only one who watches this team try to tackle and it hurts me as a rugby league fan. You can’t run without your legs so wrap up the ball carrier!

Its sad but Huff and Nolan Smith would be really good in a different scheme and Hurts is picky on who he passes too so don't blame Dotson.
@dm313219 сағат бұрын
Hurts doesnt throw to anyone unless theyre names are AJ or Devonta. He only got Dallas involved bc AJ was out. So, Dotson doesnt have a chance, and no 3rd WR has a chance to do anything in this offense with Hurts. Good QB, but not great, doesnt make the guys around him better.

Roob for whatever reason likes the Fangio scheme. Gannon’s defense did nothing until Howie loaded up with defensive talent.

Sirianni does not accept the fact that his game planning and offensive scheme is terrible. he is the perfect example of the saying insanity is doing the same things over and over again and expecting a different result. he is insane!!

I find it interesting that Moore is known for a lot of motion in his offense. Yet with the Eagles he is running the least amount in his career. This can't be all on Nick. When you run a lot of motion, you have to read the defenses pre snap reaction. Jalen has enough issues reacting to defenses without motion. It is not all on Jalen, but he is becoming an issue with his limitations as a QB.
@happyliltre37219 сағат бұрын
I wouldn’t be surprised if Slay went and finished out in Dallas a couple seasons to close his career. Love the guy and player but he isn’t a “loyal” player as far as sticking to a franchise or fanbase. I’d like to see him go back to Detroit and finish if he doesn’t retire here. Going on a rivals podcast and laughing along about your guy CJ was very unbecoming. Lots going on for our team even off the field lol😅🦅 hope everybody comes back healthy, including Syd Brown!

Ive been against the Huff signing since day one but Badly studied Huffs tape and brought up the fact that the Jets used him almost exclusively in a 4 point stance n you can see the difference in his get off. However Vic doesnt seem to do this ever not sure if it matters at this point🤔

It looks like 1-3 over the next 4 games with a blowout to the Jags. That’s how I feel coming out of the bye. Let’s see if getting our 3 stars back bails out this offensive coaching staff. 🤬
@Nido1710 сағат бұрын
Baldy broke down why Huff is failing. Vic has him playing in a diff stance than NY and its hurting him. Hes slower.

It feels like Nick is just trying to recapture the magic of the Super Bowl run without meeting these players where they are. It isn’t the same team but he thinks the same things will work. Idk very frustrating
@dandrummond915412 сағат бұрын
Vic's defense functions if you have the personnel for it. We don't. Having good players that don't fit the scheme doesn't work. Fletch was bad in Chip's defense, and when they said go get the QB don't try to read the play, he was better.

By which metric? Fangio's Dolphins were #6 in DVOA last year. Teams that have won SBs used parts of Fangio's defense.

"they had one of the best defenses in the league in '22" yea and that defense got exposed in the only game that matters and the Eagles don't have another ring because of it. I'm sorry but I'm tired people defending this awful scheme. Vic Fangio never won anything with it before and he sure as hell isn't going to win anything with it now with lesser players.

How come no one points out the turnovers in the first quarter when they talk about how bad play calling is. Blame everyone but the players Jalen has an average turnover per game of .80 % per game for his career. Goedert drops the easy passes since he has gotten here. Jalen is the problem on the field and analytics off the field because it doesn’t take into account the talent that’s on field it’s just overall average.
@vacheron234612 сағат бұрын
You can win playing this way just not with this personnel. Best coaches scheme for personnel. And we have, outside of possibly OC, poor coaches. Fangio is too old school and Sirianni isn’t a coach. At all.
@alzapata336819 сағат бұрын
at some point Hurts needs to be held accountable. he is being paid a lot of money and needs to grow up and be a leader of this team. stop being a crybaby of who is coach and coordinator is and play. We know Nick is bad but its not like Hurts and the rest of the team is lighting it up either. we wanted to change the the whole staff but now we need to get rid of the players who don't wanna be here to help this team.

LET PLAYERS MAKE SOME CALLS O&D.. LET JALEN OFF THE LEASH ONLY GOOD VIBES AND NO HATE BUT WE GONNA WIN AT ALL COAST

Welcome back, Gentlemen🙋 Your audience misses the pods and your sage voices amongst the sea of click-bait. I think that Nick's ego is unable to be a CEO coach and he has inserted his banal offensive strategy since Week 2. Can Lurie insist that Nick stop interfering?! 🤦 Bet my next pay check that Nick will be gone next season and Kellen will replace him to maintain consistency for Jalen.
